About Carla

Carla is a committed follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for discipleship, demonstrated in her lifestyle, writing, and teaching. Carla has ministered to adults, children, and families for over 30 years, instilling in them this same passion of living sold-out for Jesus. She has been married for over 35 years and has two married sons and four grandchildren. Like the apostles, Carla is an “ordinary” person whom Jesus has equipped and empowered to do His will (Acts 4:13).

Carla’s life ambition is to diligently follow God’s will, and her writing promotes godliness as a way of life. Her life was transformed when she learned how to apply the truth of God’s Word to overcome common emotions among Christians such as: being overwhelmed, frustrated, disappointed, angry, anxious, etc. She found that the key to experiencing victory despite her circumstances was belief and trust in the promises of God. Carla provides practical and purposeful training to help people practice walking in truth, while influencing those around them. Because the Bible teaches that everything we need for life and godliness is found in the knowledge of Christ, training others to know God’s Word, surrender to His will, and apply His principles is Carla’s life goal.
